Famitsu scores the game 36/40
Updated 2026-10-16. Checked 2026-10-16.
On 14 October 2026 Famitsu’s first complete-game review scored Final Fantasy Resonance 36/40, printed as 9/9/9/9. The same review is the source of the 20–30 hour and 70 hour length figures.
I am reporting the score, not adopting it as my own. Western outlets had not published matching reviews by 16 October.
What it does not settle
Metacritic was still empty. A single magazine score is not a consensus.
