Privacy policy
Updated 2026-10-16. Checked 2026-10-16.
Checked 16 October 2026. Three third parties can run on these pages, and each one waits for a different trigger. Google Analytics 4 (G-960ZX335WC) is the only one in the page itself: it starts under Consent Mode v2 with all four storage types denied, so it writes nothing until you accept. Microsoft Clarity (project yyoe7ojlgv, clarity.ms) and Adsterra's ad tags (a native banner and a floating bar, served from bicea.org) are injected only after you accept, so an unaccepted visit sends no request to either. The rest of the site data in your browser is the consent choice and the ad-bar preference described below. Pressing a video play button is what requests YouTube.
I compared this policy against the built pages. The HTML carries one third-party script tag, GA4’s gtag.js; the Clarity loader and the two Adsterra unit URLs are present as strings that no browser requests until they are injected. An unaccepted visit requests nothing from clarity.ms or bicea.org — clicking Accept is what injects both, and it also flips ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage to granted for GA4. The inline Consent Mode default is local code that sends no request and runs ahead of the GA4 config call. Clarity writes _clck and _clsk only on that granted path, so this page says Clarity records after consent rather than from the first page view. The only ad network here is Adsterra, it is the only network in ads.txt, and the website record for this domain has its adult-ads switch off, so no adult creative is requested. If any of that changes, this page changes in the same update.
Third parties
Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-960ZX335WC, googletagmanager.com) loads with the page. All four Consent Mode v2 storage types start denied and ads_data_redaction is on, so it writes no cookie and sends no personal data until you accept; Accept updates the storage flags to granted, Reject leaves them denied. Purpose: audience measurement. Legal basis: your consent. Retention: Google’s own policy.
Adsterra (tags served from bicea.org) is the advertising network behind two placements: a native banner inside the page and a floating social bar. Both tags are injected only after you accept — before that, no request reaches the network. Adsterra chooses the creative, and once its tags run it may set its own cookies and browser storage. The website record for finalfantasyresonance.net is filed under Social with adult ads switched off, so the network is not asked to serve adult creatives here. Purpose: keeping this fan guide free to read. Legal basis: your consent. Retention: Adsterra’s own policy, published at adsterra.com.
Microsoft Clarity (project yyoe7ojlgv, loaded from clarity.ms/tag and reporting to *.clarity.ms) records heatmaps and session replays: clicks, scrolling, and the page path a session moves through. It is injected only after you accept, on the same trigger as the ads, and it masks keystrokes in form fields. Purpose: usability measurement, so the guides can be fixed where readers get stuck. Legal basis: your consent. Retention: Clarity’s own retention window for recordings.
YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com) is requested only after you activate a trailer facade. Google and the video’s publisher then receive the request your browser sends, including the usual IP address and the video id.
Outbound links to Steam, PlayStation, Square Enix, Nintendo, and Wikipedia are ordinary links. Those sites set their own cookies after you leave.
Cookies and localStorage
Key ffr-consent in localStorage stores granted or denied, plus an expiry, for 180 days. It remembers whether you closed the banner. It is not sent to a server here.
Key ffr-adbar-hidden in localStorage records one bit about the floating ad bar: it holds 1 while the bar is hidden and is removed when you press Show ad bar. It stays on your device and is not sent anywhere.
We write no cookie of our own. After you accept, Google Analytics 4 can write the cookies _ga and _ga_960ZX335WC. Reject, or clearing site data for finalfantasyresonance.net, leaves analytics storage denied.
Microsoft Clarity writes its own cookies on this domain, _clck (about a year, to recognise a returning browser) and _clsk (about a day, to stitch one visit together). They are set by the Clarity tag, not by inline code here, and only after you accept.
Once the Adsterra tags load, that network sets its own cookies and browser storage — on this domain and on its own — to count impressions, cap repetition, and detect invalid traffic. The names are chosen by the network rather than by us, so they are not enumerated here. Clearing site data for finalfantasyresonance.net and for the ad domain removes them. Because no ad tag runs before you accept, none of this exists on an unaccepted visit.
Legal basis, retention, and your rights
The legal basis for ffr-consent and ffr-adbar-hidden is your choice (consent). You can delete either one in the browser, or open Cookie settings in the footer and choose again. Global Privacy Control (navigator.globalPrivacyControl) forces the stored choice to denied, and the ad network and Clarity tags are never injected in that state.
The ad network decides whether an individual ad is personalized, from what its tags see after you accept; this site passes it no profile of its own. If you want to opt out of personalized advertising across sites, use Google Ads Settings, the DAA opt-out, the NAI opt-out, or the EDAA choices page in the EU. Rejecting the banner here is the stronger option, because it keeps every ad tag from loading at all. A Do Not Track signal is treated the same as a refused banner when the browser exposes Global Privacy Control; older DNT flags are not a reliable browser API, so the banner still asks.
Access, correction, and deletion requests go to [email protected]. We have no account database to export. The choices live on your device. Policy changes are dated on this page.
Questions
Do you sell data?
No. There is no account here, nothing is sold, and no request reaches the ad network before you accept.
