Demo bosses

Updated 2026-10-16. Checked 2026-10-16.

Bring a Flame Scroll mindset for Belmodar, light for Hell’s Rider, ice then light for the two Hunger fights, and lightning for Siren. Antlion only ambushes you on foot. These weaknesses come from a competitor walkthrough, not from Square Enix.

I left Gilgamesh off the demo list. The same source calls Gilgamesh a late-game fight with no fixed weakness. Chapter 1’s own summary is four story bosses plus three optional ones, which matches the seven names below.

Seven chapter-1 fights

Sephiroth and Ultima Weapon are also described as later super-bosses, not demo fights.
